Protesters Interrupt Parliament (Video Australia)

Anthony Albanese said the federal opposition encouraged anti-carbon tax protesters to disrupt parliament.
During Question Time around 40 people stood up in the public gallery and yelled "no carbon tax", "shame Labor" and "shame Gillard" as the prime minister was speaking. Of course security ejected these people out of the chamber, but I fully support these peaceful protesters, and good on them for voicing their opinion. .

Seen the same footage last night on the news where the supporters of the carbon tax were in the public gallery in the morning and the protesters in the afternoon and thought straight away it smelled like publicity stunt by the labour party to try and gain extra support for the carbon tax by chucking out the protesters :-).

Hi Windsmoke,
I totally agree, it was definitely a publicity stunt. I heard on the grape vine that there was only 1 person in the gallery that was for the carbon tax when the "No Carbon Tax" protesters were there. Don't know how true that is, but it sounds right. :)

It's absolutely clear that the Australian people are NOT HAPPY..but she's still not listening. Do you think she might be listening by next election?

Hi Tempo,
I have come to the conclusion that this Government does not care about what the Australian people want or don't want, everything is just in such a mess. The greens wanting all these extra taxes, they also want to shut down power stations, and now we may lose our freedom of speech, which will also effect blogs.

She knows she is gone, and she is making things as hard as possible for any new Government, that may win at the next election. Notice how they are rushing through all these new bills, it beggars belief.
