91 Year Old Climbs Mountain. (India)

The ninety-one-year old set a new high inspiration for people of all age groups by climbing a mountain 3,500 above sea level without any help or assistance, but for a walking stick as an occasional aid.
'I don't consider myself as old, because I believe that if one's attitude is strong, the body would also be fit. The body should be maintained healthy since childhood. I have done this to boost the morale of the youngsters and they don't get scared and participate in such activities,' Narayan Krishna Mahajan said.
Bigpond News There is also a video in the article as well.

I think that is incredible, to be able to do that at 91. He certainly looks good for his age as well, they interview him in the video, and you would never guess that he was 91 years old. He really is an inspiration for all ages I feel.

Hi Windsmoke,
Good on you, that's not bad at all. Everyone I feel needs some sort of exercise, to keep everything going, especially as we get older.

Hi Starry,
I agree he is a great inspiration, I don't know about the marathon, but just to reach that age would be nice. :)

Hi Mags, my first visit here.
I am in awe of people like this who have so much energy, your first commenter walks 10k a day - amazing! I have just been looking at a charity walk website and am wondering if my 55 year old legs are up for a 40k trek....

Hi gitwizard,
Welcome to the "other blog" :)

Wow a 40K trek, I know for sure I wouldn't be able to do anything like that, I'm not sure I would even get half way.

If you think you can achieve it, why not give it a go, it would be worth the effort seeing it's for charity. Why not give yourself a bit of a test, and do a walk and see how you go, that's the only way I feel you would know how far you can go. Good Luck.

Unfortunately here at Blogger, it is very hard to get links to work, it's not like wordpress where everything is rather easy. It does seem to be behind the 8 ball so to speak.

I am surprised that links don't work on this Blogger site? I used to have a Blogger blog until I discovered the wonderful world of Wordpress.
Not sure I am able to do 40k, they are also doing 10 and 20k walks. Will blog about it nearer the time.

Hi gitwizard,
It's the same on all blogger sites, I didn't realize you could put links in the comments before. I don't know when it all changed, there have been a few changes since google took over I think, some for the better, but there is a long way to go before they catch up with a lot of blogging sites.

For some unknown reason there are some codes that blogger does not accept. The only reason I managed to get links in the comments, I googled "how to" and there were a few that had a step by step on how to get links working in comments on blogger. No problem at all when you do a post of course, just in comments.

Great idea, it sounds like it would make an interesting post. :)
